• The Quality Score (QS) is calculated from a number of different factors. These include the keyword CTR, the maximum set CPC and even the quality the webpage that visitors will be directed to when they click the advertisment.

Finally, it is important to note that the page where visitors are directed to when they click on an advertisment is extremely important. If visitors end up a simple webpage that has very little sophistication with limited information, then the Quality Score will most likely be very low. Thus a page that only has a place to input a name and an email address, in order to continue, will have a very low Quality score which will, in turn, lead to a very high CPC in Google Adwords.
