Here’s the 411 on Adwords

Hey! Need the 411 on AdWords? You are not alone! Many people know about Adwords but either does not know how to use it or are confused about using it correctly. Let’s start with the basics. Google AdWords is an internet marketing tool that is used in association with SEO or search engine optimization to not only rank a page higher but also bring more traffic to the site in question. So why is this important? Well, if you don’t use it, your ship may either sink or not come to port. Everything is based on SEO these days.

This is a tool designed to give you the highest ranked keywords or keyword phrases so that you can rank very highly through the search engines. Using these keyword phrases is the magic want to getting your dreams come true. Hold on a minute folks! That would be like me telling you that I have the Golden Gate Bridge for sale in South Dakota! This is just part of what is going on. You have to KNOW how to use these tools correctly before that magic wand will even work right! Sometimes it doesn’t work.

Using this tool, you need to understand what keywords are. Keywords are certain words that describe what you have on your site. They are then ranked through Google and listed in order of most times clicked. AdWords will help you to choose the best keywords for you based upon what your site is about. Here is something to remember. Don’t think that you will automatically be able to choose the highest ranked words.  The higher ranked keywords will also cost a bit more. You also have to write an ad that includes as many of the higher ranking keywords as possible.

Here is one thing to think about folks. When it comes to writing advertisements, as contents on the web, you have to seriously be careful about how many keywords you put into an advertisement. There is such a thing as keyword stuffing. This means that you have too many keywords and even keywords that are not related to the product you are working on. The normal limit by WC3 rules is 2 percent maximum density. This means for a 30 word ad for example you can only have a keyword in there 3 times.  This is just a very gentle reminder folks for you to think about.

With that being said, using AdWords can be a bit confusing. To write a 25 to 30 word ad can be a bit of a chore. How do you write it, make it attention grabbing and not blow off the search engine rules about keyword stuffing? This is hard to do but with practice you can do this before you agree to the terms of AdWords. This is strongly advised. This tool can also help you with the ad writing which makes it a lot easier to deal with. So that is the basic 411 on Adwords for you to think about.
